my name is Henri and I'm the university student behind this Blog,

as it's title states, Stories from the smoke is a blog about stories from my city:''The Smoke''.

London got the nickname ''The Smoke'' or ''The Big Smoke'' after the 1952 great smog, the nickname still holds today after the grey and foggy atmosphere that reigns persistently in the British capital.
